UserTime displays an icon in the Taskbar Notification Area often referred to as the System Tray. This allows you to leave UserTime running in the background with no windows showing on your screen. Right clicking on the tray icon shows a menu with the option to show or hide the main UserTime screen or to exit the program.
Hovering your mouse over the tray icon displays a notification of the status of your timer. The notification will include a project name if you have specified one as well as the elapsed time of your counter. If you have started your custom counter it will show the time on your custom counter, otherwise it will show the active time for the current day.
