The totals report shows the total time the computer has been used for over a specified period. The report defaults to grouping the data into days so you can get a quick overview of how long the user has been active in any given day.
Selecting different date ranges changes the type of results this report displays. If you just want to see the time spent on each computer each day then choose a single day of a small range of days and make sure you have the data grouped in days.
If you want to see the general trend over a long period then select a wider data range and consider grouping the totals into weeks or months.

The standard controls user/computer, date range selectors, chart type etc. apply to this report. Click here for information on how to use these controls. There are some specific configuration controls that only appear when this report is selected. |
This configuration option allows you to group data shown on the report in groups of days, weeks, months or years. If you select a wide date range for your report you may prefer to see the information grouped in weeks or months rather than the graph showing each day separately.
This option allows you to change the time displayed on the graph from minutes to hours. This is useful if you are showing large total amounts of time where hours becomes easier to interpret than minutes.
