The options on this tab allow you to set passwords for changing options or exiting the program.
|
WARNING We recommend that you don't assign passwords to these items unless you are sure you want to use them. Having a box pop up and ask for a password can be annoying and even counter-productive if you can't remember the password. If you forget the exit password you can always reset it in the options screen, but if you forget the Options password you will have to un-install and re-install the software to reset the password.

When you enter a new password you will be prompted to confirm the password before it is assigned. If you don't confirm the password correctly the new password will not be assigned.
Passwords can be any length and can contain letters and numbers only. They are case sensitive so for example MyPassword is a not the same as Mypassword
If you assign an options password you will be prompted for a password each time you open the options screen.
If you assign an exit password you will be prompted for a password if you attempt to manually close UserTime. UserTime will close without a password if the system is closing down or you are logging off.
