Data Options

The data options tab allows you to change the data file UserTime is currently using. Generally this will be a separate file for each user on your computer, but you can choose to store all the results in a single file which can reside on your local computer or on a network drive if you have a network installed.

The current data file is displayed in the box under data file. If you want to change it or create a new file then click the "change" button.

The UserTime data file screen will appear. This gives you the option of changing the data file or creating a new one.

You can type the full path  to the file in the box or click "browse" to locate the file. If the new button is enabled you can create a new data file. NOTE you must have sufficient system privileges to open or create a data file. If you are running under a limited user in Windows®  XP you will be restricted from reading and writing to some folders on your system. You may need to run under an administrator account to change the location of the data file.
